Our values at Graviolala form the foundation of our company and are crucial to our pursuit of quality and sustainability. We believe in a transparent and direct supply chain, which forms the basis of our quality promise.
Sustainability is our philosophy
Sustainability is at the heart of our philosophy. Our commitment begins with sourcing our favorite ingredient, the graviola leaves. These are harvested in Madagascar, where we ensure sustainable farming methods and fair working conditions. We can guarantee this 100% because our managing director's cousin runs the plantation himself, and we maintain close contact with him. We minimize our environmental footprint by shipping the raw materials to Germany. This not only reduces CO2 emissions but also supports local economies and communities.
Our quality promise
Quality is of paramount importance to us. The graviola leaves undergo rigorous quality controls in Madagascar and are carefully selected to ensure they meet our stringent standards. Transport by ship allows for gentle handling and preservation of the raw material. In Albstadt, where they are delivered to the contract packer, they are processed under strict hygienic conditions. This meticulous handling guarantees the maintenance of the highest quality in our products. Five of these products are sent to the PMA in Sindelfingen, a renowned medical laboratory that tests our leaves according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Our leaves are only released for sale if the sample complies with Regulation (EC) 396/2005 (current version) and the microbiological specifications required by THIE for dried herbal teas.
Transparent and direct supply chains
We are proud to have built a transparent and direct supply chain. Our customers can trace exactly where our graviola leaves come from and how they are processed. From cultivation in Madagascar to packaging in Albstadt, we place great value on transparency. We believe our customers have the right to know what they are buying and where they are buying it.
Our supply chain at a glance
- Production: The graviola leaves are sustainably harvested in Madagascar.
- Transport to Germany: The raw materials are transported to Germany by ship.
- Product processing: Our leaves are processed at a contract packer in Albstadt. Here they are packaged and are now ready for the end consumer.
- Transport to the warehouse: Products ready for end consumers are shipped either to Amazon or to our warehouse in Tönisvorst. Five products go to the food laboratory in Sindelfingen, and only after a positive report do our leaves go on sale.
Distribution channels of Graviolala
Depending on the distribution channel:
- Amazon: Our products are delivered directly to Amazon's warehouses in Germany. Orders are then shipped from Germany to the end customer by Amazon.
- Webshop: The goods are delivered directly to the Graviolala pre-shipment center in Tönisvorst and from there we ship them to the end customer.
